The tag title match seemed a bit short...no surprise to the ending.

Bit surprised that Chavo retained, thought Yang would finally get his chance tonight

Set-up looks good, nice idea having former champions there too.

Benoit missed a houseshow as he had an emergency at home and had to rush home, wasn't certain whether he'd be there tonight or not. He would have won it and all I'd say.

Crowd starting to reject this. Loud "boring" chants. Why was Nitro selected as Punk's opponent? Surely Burke would have made more sense?

Hope Punk wins as he at least has been in the title hunt.

I don't think it mattered if it was Niro or Burke. They just wanted Benoit.

I think that says more about how they perceive Nitro.

Exactly! There obviously had to be a new champ in the ECW title match, I thought either the IC or CW, or both titles would change.

Looks like it's gonna be the women's title changing, honestly can't see Edge or Cena leaving without their titles.

Basically, there was a report a while ago that from now, none of the referees were being told the finishes of the matches. They had to just call them like real matches.


I'm not sure if thats totally happening tonight but they are definitely making referees be seen to be more serious.

Oh remember reading about that alright. They were supposed to be trying it out at houseshows for awhile.

Putting Foley in the middle of a match like that where he meant nothing was kinda sad to me.

Overall, the highlight for me was Deuce (or was it Domino) landing on Jinny Snuka as they tried a leap frog. Seriously though, seeing some of the older guys was fun but generally it was pretty underwhelming.

Anyway, sleep time for me.

Lots of Cena haters on this thread which is strange because on another thread many people were calling him the best wrestler of the year.

I felt it was a poor show overall. The main event matches - Edge/Batista and the five man match - were enjoyable but the rest of them were only average at best.

Raw tomorrow will be like another PPV. Imagine how bollixed WWE employees must be right now!
