Compulsive aimlessly staying up on the internet really late disorder...

Anyone else like this? I find myself frequently staying on my PC until the early hours of the morning doing fúck all basically, just checking email, looking on boards, looking at other forums, clicking around wikipedia for a while, watching some videos on youtube etc. Yet I'm actually really tired and just couldn't be arsed moving.

It's so aimless, yet I find myself doing it far too often.....

Yes. And now that I am on my summer holidays from college and unemployed it gets worse every night. Was at a point there where I was going to sleep around 6am and then waking up at 4 or 5pm the following day.

Dinner for breakfast. It's all very confusing.

You know it's not a good thing when every night you're being inconvenienced by the boards.ie 3am - 3:40 down time.

use to do this al the time back when i first got online aroun 98/99.

got chatting to a lot of people on the far side of the atlantic, discovered mplayer.com and that was it , stayin up till 7am every night talkin ****e lol

Ha! It's only just past 6PM west of ye 8 time zones. I'm sitting poolside in a two piece swim suit under an umbrella with the sun out and breeze sipping a tall cool one. 3AM (my 7PM) boards shut down is perfect for a dinner and a movie date Saturday night, so don't change it! You think me a web junkie like the rest of you? Well, sleep in late Sunday morning and you'll never know!;)

Lucky b*stard. Bloody miserable here. At least if the weather was nice I could have sat in the back garden all day and have been tired from that

I for one was surprised when I only recently noticed it beginning to get bright at 4am. OK, it's summer and everything, but I thought that was a bit early...

But all the good stuff happens after 10.

Before the start of the month I didn't go to bed till at least 9am. Now I'm kinda of employed, I have to go to bed around 3 but thankfully I get to spent the vast majority of my working day online.

That's one of the joys of being paid to write. It has many advantages. My part time job is also amazingly fun. Get to work in a record store in which I spent about 90% of my day online. God bless independent record stores.

Been here almost two years and sometimes forget. We do get a marine layer overcast sky in the mornings, but that burns off late morning in OC, followed by a beautiful blue sky and warm sun for the rest of the day.:cool:

Same here. I've sworn on so many souls that I would be in bed before 2 am. I must have damned a lot of good people to eternal damnation. Just cant get myself to go to bed early at all. Nothing to do with the internet either. Before I was online I used to stay up watching rubbish on T.V. or reading books. Anything so as not to go to bed.
