Whats the best exercises to do to help tone your stomach [Im Female btw]?

I do sit-ups but it dose not appear to be making any difference, especially the area from my bellybutton down.

    Anyone got any tips?

    Loose body fat.

There's no such thing as spot reducing of body fat.

There's a Pilates exercise which I use for stomach toning called Hundreds - this is the best picture I could find of it.

You start by lying on the ground on your back, then raise your legs (not as high as that woman obviously!) and finally raise your shoulders and head, then raise and lower your arms slowly to the count of 100 - they should only move about 2 or 3 inches.

If you can get a trainer to make sure you are doing it properly then do as like sit-ups it is possible to injure yourself, in particular your lower back.

I find this good as it works both the lower and upper abdominal muscles.
