Okay - this is the programe I worked out from the stickies etc. Can you critisize any problem bits?

    Breakfast - 8.15am
Omlette (3 egg white & 1 whole egg) with spinach and 1 tsp lowfat cheese

    Snack - 11am
    Celery Sticks

    Lunch - 1.15pm
    a) Salad (Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber, Balsamic Vinegar) with Chicken Fillet / Tuna
    b) Homemade Veg Soup (all veg except potato simmered with little water and then blended to make puree) & Can Tuna

    Snack - 4pm
    Small handful peanuts (dry roast)

    Dinner - around 7 or 8pm
    a) Steamed Veg with Grilled Steak/Chicken Fillet/Fish
    b) Stirfry with Veg and Beef/Chicken (no noodles or rice)
    c) Chilli Mince (reduced fat mince) with steamed veg

Then sugar free jelly when I crave something sweet. I'm also drinking decaff coffe with fake sugar and skinny milk. Trying to get loads of water in but have trouble drinking cold stuff (get stomach cramps) so drink pints of hot water with slice of lemon.

    What you aiming for?

I need to loose about two stone (maybe a little less)

I workout 3-4 days a week in the gym - some weights and one hour intereval cardio. Also walk the dog for half hour every morning.

Very healthy diet! Expand your snack at 4pm to various nuts and dried fruit.
How are you getting on with it?

I find lunch the hardest. I'm sick of salad - but the soup's going well. I'm lucky cos I love veggies.

Also in work the kitchen is full of cake, biscuits, chocolate bars etc so I have to stay out of it (my resolve isn't strong enough) so I have to fill my pint glasses with hot water in the morning when I'm full from breakfast and then not go back up all day!!!

Only on it one week. Haven't lost anything yet but I'll give it a week or two more before getting stressed out.

I'm sure it took a while to accumulate that extra 2 stone - it's only natural that it will take time to get rid of it.
Rapid weight loss won't do you any good long term, so you need to stick with it for a few months and loose it over say three months or so. I'd be surprised if what you are eating there doesn't start to shift the pounds.

I don't see having a pitta/wrap/Sambo for lunch with chicken and veggie once or twice a week setting you back in your goal. Also, you could try cooking extra for your evening meal and bringing it in for lunch the next day a couple of times a week. The most important thing is to get yourself used to better habits - but don't forget to give yourself a treat too.

Oh I go home for lunch (only work 5 min drive away). I could still reheat the extra dinner for lunch though.

Well my bf is very supportive, but insists that I have one dinner a week eating with him (i.e. he decides what to cook/order and I have to eat it!!) So I'm going to try and make that my one bold meal.

Also I love rowing and managed to get a concept II C for é700 from a gym that was selling up. So going to try and get back into rowing every day.

You're bf is dead right - you can't eat like that for the rest of your life, and you need to enjoy food and be happy with what you're eating. I think a general rule of thumb is that if you eat clean 80% of the time, you won't hamper your progress to much. If dieting for a purpose, you could go to 90 - 95% depending on your goals.
For example, I like to go out for dinner once a week and have one or two, lets say, more tasty dinners a week with the family. I also have a treat once or twice a week i.e choc bar, bag of crisps, ice cream, etc. In my experience, the difference in results between eating 80% and 100% clean is negligble, but the 80% makes it so much easier to do long term while still enjoying food. At the end of the day you should be looking to change how you eat for the rest of your life, not just for a couple of months to shift a bit of weight.

    I eat roughly 5-6 meals a day, that's around 40 meals a week - that means I could actually eat 8 cheat meals a week. I rarely do, but normally have 5 r 6.

P.S be careful by cheat meal, I don't mean a complete pig out, still healthy enough but it might include fried food, tasty sauce, roast potatoes, etc

My plan is to eat 99% clean until I loose the first stone, then maybe 90% until I get to my goal, then eat 80-85% forever!!!

Referring back to my previous ed problems, I have a problem with portion size and knowing where to stop so I have to keep it as clean as possible - eating 30 celery sticks instead of 3 isn't going to do my diet much harm, but once I allow myself one pitta bread I'll end up having "one more" and then "just one more". For now I have to stick to foods where it won't matter that much if I eat too much of it.

(Just for the record - i have a massive appetite. My bf says it is embarrassing that I can easily eat any guy under the table. Strange that I can't handle drink very well!)

Thats a good plan. One tip is that if you have your walk first thing in the morning before breakfast, your blood sugar is at its lowest and you will burn more fat. Also, I hope your dog isn't one of those who stops to mark his territory every 20 seconds or it will disrupt your rhythm...

Just make sure that you are enjoying what you are eating, even with the best will power in the world if you dont enjoy it its so much harder to keep going with it!
    Good Luck!

hmmm I think calorie wise you seem to be a bit on the low side an also there re no carbs bar in your veg at all. Now at the moment I would also be mostly cutting out carbs but I wouldn't do it all the time espeially if you are not use to it as chances are you won't last and could end up even worse

No harm taking all your carbs from veggies and fruit! Fibrous carbs are the biz and there is a fancy amount of them in the diet.
