Hi, im quite new to all this keeping fit stuff but im giving it a go all the same.
I have a question for you guys though, what do you eat after you've been to the gym?
Mostly I'm in work straight after the gym so I was wondering if theres anything I can make/buy thats quick and easy considering il probably be eating in the car? I have to eat something because otherwise it'll be hours before I get anything substantial. I know personal preference and tastes will come in here but any recommendations would be great!

If you're doing resistance (weights) work:

    RAM - directly after workout

have you got a microwave in work?

    Dinners I eat PWO:

Chicken Breast, Wholewheat Pasta and Pesto
Spaghetti Bolognese (again Wholewheat Pasta and homemade bolognese)
McCambridges-style Soda Bread and Poached Eggs w/Ballymaloe Relish/Carmelised Onions

Basically any meal that contains carbs and Protein will do ya. Just try to stick to low gi carbs.

Well alot of people have shakes after the gym like the RAM that sleepy mentioned, or just any shake with protein & carbs in it.

My advice would be to have something - even a sandwich with some kind of meat in it is a pretty good option.
