MacBook Battery problems

My MacBook is just over 13 months old and the battery is acting up. Its down to 77% of its original capacity, but the MacBook doesn't seem to knwo this and shuts down when it thinks there is still approx 25% charge left. It seems like a calibration issue, but I can't do the normal battery calibration thing as the computer shuts down rather than going to sleep when the battery is nearly dead.

Anyway, since its over 12 months what are the chances of Apple replacing it? I might take a chance and call their customer support, but probably wasting my time!

BTW, I have the battery firmware updated to 1.2 and all other updates installed (except 10.4.10, which I'll do tonight).
