can i claim vat?

If my vat on purchases is more than my vat on sales, can i get this money back? So for example i spend lot of money on supplies and only start to make a few sales before my vat return is due. Can i claim the rest of the vat?

Be careful with this the revenue will come audit you after a few refunds so make sure your records are correct and up to date.
