I saw deep blue sea kayaking out in DL last night. They seem to have a good reputation and the equipment looked decent. They're sea kayakers but I'm sure they do lessons. Not sure of anywhere that does white water lessons. I've seen them around Bray and Bullock Harbour a fair bit too.

Have a look around Dun Loaghaire pier...went sailing there a while ago, weather was too bad so we went kayaking instead! Not sure exactly where, but you'll find em...eventually. Just look around the pier.:D

i know this is a bit of an old thread now but as someone above mentioned Deep Blue Sea Kayaking would be an excellent choice and I'd highly recommend them.

Me and my buddy did their weekend introductory course 2 months ago and they are highly professional , knowledgeable, courtieous ,patient and will answer any question you throw at them as basically as possible so you can understand the answer.

am doing the intermediate courses soon before i buy my kayak in Sept :)

you could also check out www.seakayakingassociation.com for a list of other coaches in Dublin theres a crowd out in Howth as well but they're only new and I'm not sure what they're like
