I know you probably get asked this a million times but i searched the thread and couldn't find anyhting specifically related to it. I went for an assessment in my gym and the personal trainer said that the amount of cardio combined with the weights i was doing was causing my body to turn catabolic. He said in order for me to get gains from my weight training i would need to start taking a protein supplement to stop this occuring and that if i wanted to gain muscle taking a supplement like creatine would help me achieve any goals i have.

I had previously taken pro-x for 6 weeks and i gained results but due to exams i had to stop working out on such a regular basis. Now i'm free and i have time to burn i want to get into a better workout routine and i'd like to introduce both protein and creatine into my diet. But my question is which brand should i go for? i followed the fittness links provided but have no idea which is good and which isn't. Is it person specific as in do some brands work for some people? or is it all the same for everyone?
