Looks like a cracking deal. I see from tech specs and was wondering what kind of add-in PCI-E grpahics card it could take?
    The PSU is 280W.

There is a limit on Laser transactions which is why they don't do them. At least this was the explanation I was given. But they will do cheques and bank transfers if you call them

How does that beat 345.83... of course you can get higher spec for more cash but 350ish for the above pc is a give-away.
Your pc is 67% more expensive.

I ordered one, removed the mouse and ignored all the warnings, but received no confirmation email. I was worried Id miss out on this, really want that 24 inch monitor! So I ordered again without removing the mouse, and received a confirmation email instantly and just checked online while ago, it was sent for delivery yesterday.

I have received no confirmation or any email regarding the first order (one with mouse removed). If they both come I guess I'll just send one back.

I ordered yesterday (and specified no mouse by canceling the pop ups). I got an internet receipt number but no e-mail confirmation whatsoever. I wonder is there a problem

    Try this:

    http://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?cs=ieepp1&kc=305&oc=D06C12xp&x=0&y=0

You just need to add 'xp' after the code 'D06C12' to get the XP equivalent.

It seems Dell have repaired the "issue" of being able to order a system "sans" mouse.

No way could I "add to basket" a PC with a "compatibility issue"

Anyone else try this lately? Looks like they sorted it sometime today, as I'd speced a machine last night and was about to buy but didn't have my credit card to hand

Is it in any way worth getting this to play games? Was looking around and it seems the best card you can put in it is a x1600 Pro. Would it be worth it with the processor and ram etc.? Could get a 360 at that price.
