Does anybody here take BCAAs? How do you find them? Would you recommend them? When do you take them? I'm thinking of putting them into my PWO shake, can they be mixed with RAM or Whey or is there too many amino acids in those 2 supplements to mix with BCAAs?????

I was going to buy them in powder form.... (despite the taste:( )

    Sorry load of questions there....

    Thanks

Thanks, I read somewhere though you can't mix BCAAs with other amino acids... So I was wondering is there too much amino acids in RAM to mix them with it????

With my RAM I take the following.

    5 grams creatine mono
    5 grams additional Glutamine ( I'm a glutamine fiend )
    10 grams L-Leucine

I have no problems mixing stuff to be honest. The only argument I can see against mixing BCAA's with the other AA's would be ratios and absorbtions. The thing is, if you are getting in a steady stream of aminos throughout the day then sacrificing the absorbtion of some aminos to get more of the ones that will be more beneficial to you at that time should not be an issue.

Extremely good point, never looked at it like that. :D

I was just worried the aminos in the RAM would overtake the absorbtion of the BCAA's, you know? So now no quams mixing it with CEE and RAM.

L-Leucine is kind of like/is a BCAA, right???

Bit of a n00b question, but what's Glatamine do???
