    Hey everyone,

I was just wondering has anyone ever used this set? Is it any good?
My flatmate is planning on using it also and he is teetering around 15st which it says is the max weight it can carry, is this realistic?

    Thanks.

    Hey man,

the sit up bracket and the push up handles are kosher but I wouldn't hold your breath with the chinning bar. I went throughg loads of these trying to get one I coluld get a decent home workout on.

I eventually went to a steel fabricator and had him make me one up to my exact specs. I only wish I'd done it ten years ago.

    HHG,

Thanks for that. Think ill go for it anyway, ive looked around and apart from ordering some dodgy looking yokes off ebay, it seems to be my only real choice.

I have one and tTBH there isn't one doorframe in the house I can get it between (fortunately I have some sturdy shelves of the perfect height which I have a nice set up in); the bracket for the bar has a diameter of about an inch and a half, which gets in the way of any door at home.

I bought a cheap one from Aldi a few months ago and its going strong with fairly consistant use, and I fluctuate around the 15 Stone mark.

Just keep in mind what other posters said about making sure your door is big enough to accomodate it.

    Thanks for that guys.
Davy, do you mean the chin up bar isnt adjustable at all width wise? or do you mean that where you put it onto the frame is too big?
Would you know what are argos like returns like these if it does not fit?

Got this set in the end. It fits to the door frame nicely, can be removed easily and seems to more than stong enough, so I'm happy.
