A walk on Howth Head/Dalkey/Dun Laoghaire tonight would be great. Get the Dart from town.

Failing that there is lots you can do, why not go bowling, catch a gig in Temple Bar, there are a couple of restaurants in town where you can choose and cook your own food thats a good laugh and not your traditional going for a meal lark!

Loads to do if you take the time to look

I think Binomate should be barred for that comment, its neither funny not smart, and I'm upset and offended by the comment.

    Reported.

EDIT: Lets hope you never have to deal with something like this in your life.

Common typo, clearly date rap was implied.

I'm sorry I can't remember just now. One is on Leeson Street and the other is on Parnell Street (both Chinese)

Unfortunately that pretty much covers Dublin activities on a Friday night.
Pitch and put? Watch the boats in the harbour? Lazying about on Stephen's Green?

The comedy night upstairs in the international bar is always good, or downstairs in bankers. Also, what about aya - the sushi restaurant? Or the karaoke bar, ukiyo, is always fun after a few cheap cocktails in the capitol lounge.

He's gone a bit funny since he came out of the closet on AH. It was in bad taste though.

OP: Theatre? Gigs? Comedy show? Casino?

The Ghost Bus Tour, eight o'clock from O'Connell St, will kill about 2 hrs for you and is well worth the €20.00

If it's good enough for Brother Tom's missus (fine girl that she is <--don't hit me Lucy, please!) then it's good enough for her dammit! :D

OP, depending on her interests (and your wallet!) you could go to the theatre instead! Early showings and audience previews usually cost a little less.

This of course would be after you had gone bowling! I note the Gooner suggested this earlier too, he's obviously a man who knows how to treat a lady!

Sadly no, I am a girl that likes to have fun :D

Certainly go to the theatre, a good play can be absolutely amazing... Go to a comedy gig, go for a drive outside of Dublin, go on the tour of Dublin which can incl the likes of guinesses, museums, the zoo etc... Go swimming out in the NAC... Stay at home and play twister

Ehh....why is this thread called "boring Dublin" when the OP doesn't know the city? Surely you have to know it before making that assumption.

All the replies point to it being less than boring!;)

Well if you really are a girl then you know how a lady would like to be treated and you suggested bowling. There you go OP, case closed. Post your scores on the bowling forum on Monday. Mods, please lock this thread, we're done here!

I agree with this! Was in Dalkey at the beach today and it was very nice I must say. Wish they'd get some sand though, those stones are pretty sore on the feet:(
