Nah I want something BIG I'm really leaning towards the g&g gr25. It is soooooo sexy (as guns go :p)

CA SCAR on ASI was removed. Over the legal limit. But under the mainland UK limit so he can still sell it on the UK forums if he chooses.

A TM S-system is what you want. ;)

but seriously, you should be able to get a nice one for your money, i hate the long ones myself as they just dont look right but something along the lines of the m4CQB is what i'd be looking at.

The thing that puts me off the 416 AEG is the external battery pack. I'd see if you could fit the CA crane stock that takes a large battery before getting one.

Yeah its not hightlighted enough in alot of the pics but is still a lovely rifle despite that.

Be carefull ordering the high cost AEG's from Hong Kong. Make sure you have more cash on the hip then you need. I got my VFC AKs74N from UNcompany $480 and ended up paying 128 Euro tax when it got to my door  Expensive AEG but so worth it ;)

I thought that BFSL only sold wholesale
What are their individual prices like for say a CA MP5 solid stock with all the trimmings?

BFSL (Derek) will sell to anyone.

There is a range of CA solid stock MP5s. This site stocks more types than BFSL, their prices are a bit cheaper but their shipping costs are very high.

 Is that the price Derek charges (converted to euro of course ;))
If so, I'll be getting one of those...better than a cheaper clone (new to airsoft, and I want proper equipment ;) )

The shipping is very high. Its £65. So say £250+65 £315= €465 all together!

It would be cheaper to order from BFSL overall, although it may take a while to get to you as he most likely will have to order it in.

How long would you say, I'm a patient person. Is a while more like a month?

    Nah mabey 1-2 weeks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,174 ✭✭✭✭Captain Chaos

I have no idea as I have never ordered an AEG from him but it could well be around a month.

He charges between €317-341 depending on which version of MP5. I don't know his shipping rates.

Oh alright. Does that cost include a battery, charger etc?
I know the CA are normally shipped minus these so what's the deal?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,877 ✭✭✭liamo333

Battery and charger are sold seperatly but you may be able to do a deal.

You have to get a seperate battery and charger.

If you are getting a solid stock then it will use a large type battery.
The retractable stocks take a mini type.

BFSL do not do many types of batteries and chargers.

What you want is an 8.4V with at least 2,000mah rating. I saw one on a UK site that had a 3,700mah rating.

Also look for a smart charger.

Others will know about this than me.

Anyone have any idea how much a battery will cost for the MP5 sliding stock (with torch :D )
    The mini type, that is.
Does VAT have to be added on or is the price all inclusive?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,877 ✭✭✭liamo333

    Around 20incl shipping from ehobby

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

Damn, so thats around e350 plus 21% = e425 about
That's a bit far outside my price range.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,877 ✭✭✭liamo333

Sorry I meant it is already added to the prices.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,656 ✭✭✭deepimpact

Oh, thanks, I nearly wet myself when I misread :o
e350 isn't so bad, but all I need is to get the battery soon if I'm going to get it. I'll need to get it fairly soon though because I'm going home to the Wesht later in the week (prob sat). Is BFSL open all day or do I need an appointment?

Just call ahead to say you are coming.

Ok. Quick check. This is from his price list
    Airsoftrifle, AEG, B&T MP5 A5,W. lamp, black CA €340.06
It doesn't include the battery but I'm assuming it includes everything else
ie mag, tac light (description) etc.

Also this: Battery, 8,4v, 1400mAh,tube, NiMH STRIKE €36.73
    Does this include the charger

So overall it comes to around eur370.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,174 ✭✭✭✭Captain Chaos

You're going to need a charger aswell. I would not advise going fro the cheap ones as the only do slow chargers and usually do not tell you when the battery is fullly charged so you will need to time it, so you won't overcharge the battery.

Nice choice on the A5 with tac light.

    They look wicked :D
So how much wouls a good charger and battery cost (I'm hoping it will come to round eur400 because I have a KJW P226 on the way from ehobby
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

And how do I get to BFSL by bus?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

there's a map to bfsl here

cant remember what buses go nearby though, if your ordering you can just ring

Routes no 13 and 56A pass via the Ballymount Ind Estate (that's were BFSL is, isn't it?)
Which one of the blue splotches is it?
