When I seen this advertised for Penneys Autumn Winter I fell in love! I've been waiting impatiently for it to hit the shops. Bit of a struggle to get my hands on one but it was meant to be!! Generous enough sizing.

I got a navy tux from boohoo, Christmas party potential outfit. I saw the model wearing it and fell in love, so I REALLY hope it fits! I can find trousers hard to get as my thighs are just a different size to the rest of my lower half!

Picked up these boots in Dune in the burgundy, really wanted to move away black.

I wanted a few nice bits for Christmas lunches etc that'd go easily from office to party (mainly because I'm too lazy to change). New Look is offering a 30% off full-price code when you sign up for their newsletter, so I got both of these for £34! The second one is definitely a Christmas Day outfit :)

I just ordered in this red waterproof parka from the Debenham sales - I dragged my husband to 2 stores today to see if they had it in my side but have resorted to getting it delivered, I saw it in a bigger size and it still looked lovely - I wanted a really warm coat that was a bit quirky. I just hope that it works out.

I got these ankle boots in a local shoe shop here in Tralee. They are by the brand Heavenly Feet (core black). They are really comfy. Like the bit of a chunky heel on them.

I got an amazing coat at chetee.com . The coat has fluffy faux fur packets. I am just in love with my new coat. I would like to show but I can't now because I am new here :) delivery was fast 2 days, I am from Tralee and I think they're Irish company :)

A quick google reveals that the company you have mentioned are based in Tralee. Slight coincidence that you live there too? . . . . .

I didn't know, I just text what I got. I wasn't looking for from where the company is, just said where I am from.

I'm in Tralee too, not a company or a shop I've ever heard of!?

I got some gorgeous stuff from Modcloth today. I took advantage of their 30% off sale items last week and landed a dress I'd been eyeing for months, plus a few other dresses and a set of earrings.

Ladies and gents, I love a sale, so let me tell you some details on this. At original price, this would have been about $400 (there's a 3rd dress too, but it's all black and doesn't photograph well), but with the sale on sale, it was down to $175. Plus, I had store credit from a previous purchase that didn't work out, so I ended up paying less than $50 for this whole loot.

    Here are some links:

And three pics of me in the first two dresses and the earrings.

I recently bought a red short, very heavy, waterproof parka in Debenhams which I love and is really warm but did want a lighter one for warmer weather so bought this long red puffa coat in Sainsbury's yesterday, it is a children's size and was not in the sales but I love it.

I did some shopping in the sales pre-Christmas when the first wave of 30%-50% discounts were put out. To be honest, I haven't really don't much shopping in the post-Christmas sales as I was more focussed on enjoying my time off!!

ATP boots reduced from €400 to €200 in De Bijenkorf (Amsterdam version of BT)

Vivienne Westwood Verona clutch, in snakeskin, reduced from approx €380 to €180. Love this bag

Fell in love with this so bought it for a do over in England in March.:D
How's the fit? Had to get a size bigger than normal but hoping I can get it taken in if needed. Or else eat all the pies for the next 2 months :pac:

Waist is VERY tiny - it's a true vintage fit. I was most worried about this one because some of the reviewers said they had to go up 2 sizes before it would zip up. I sized up 1 size and was just able to zip up. It's perfectly comfortable when on and it made me feel like Liz Taylor!

Oh fantastic! I was worried when buying it but just couldn't say no. Can't wait for it to arrive now :D

Splurged & treated myself as I always buy cheapy coats in Dunnes and the likes!
    TK Maxx (Michael Kors) €139
Similar to this but I think the one I got is more fab. It's navy, long and has a zip and poppers to close it. It's so warm when I put it on so perfect for cold days! plus I think the one I got is longer than this, unless I'm just really short (which I kind of am!)

Just noticed today one of the poppers is missing.
    I'm gutted.

Are there any rights for me? I bought beginning of October in TK maxx. I should still have receipt. Or will they tell me to feck off?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,209 ✭✭✭dee_mc

It'd probably be easier just to buy a little pack of poppers and sew one in?
If you haven't worn it and you think the popper was missing when you bought the coat then I suppose they might give you a refund but they're unlikely to have a similar coat to exchange it for.

No I have worn it, lots! But not excessively since October! I don't a similar coat, so I guess it might be easier to sew one in. I'm not good at sewing........ where would I get a packet of them?!

    It'll look different though :(
