Can people please post results and results only in this thread. The stickied thread can be used for discussion of the matches etc. but just for myself so it's somewhat manageable I'd like this thread to be used for recording results.

    Thanks,

    Ste

I lost 2-1 to Lex in a keenly contested game. Match 1 lasted only a few hands when 2 pair vs 2 pair went in on the turn, and I lost.

Match 2 lasted a good while longer, and I managed to win it. Lex nearly came back from a 2950-50 deficit though at one point. Had me worried.

Match 3 was decided by a big rebluff all in that was called and subsequently dogged :)

Well played Mike, good luck in the rest of the competition.

Just finished an epic battle there with dvdfan beat him 2-0 but had to suck out huge in the first game my AQ v AK allin preflop but turned a straight.
That would have crippled me and then in the 2nd game he semi-bluffed a straight draw allin when I had top two.
    Good game dvdfan.

    42. dK1NG v Cuban Son

    Paul {Cuban Son) won 2-1

First game, my pocket aces paid me off nicely, when his K hit on the flop. After that, I had a nice chip lead and eventually won.

Second game was over inthe first level - possible flush draw on the board, we both went A.I. and my 2 pair got beat by his higher 2 pair.

THird game was another close call; at one stage he was down to 208 chips, but I couldnt finish it off, and he recovered brilliantly. The winning hand saw my Q,10s suck out to his Q,9 when the river brought the 9.

    Good game!:)

    Round 1, Game 19.

    BCB 2 v 0 Bandanna Boy

Very enjoyable game, I run goot in the second leg..

As a prop bet Bandanna Boy must now change his sig to "I got schooled at poker by BigCityBanker" and leave it at that until I am defeated.. :D

Interesting hand from game 1 - I had 18 outs going to the river and hit.

    yes, unbelievers! repent!

I now know how Johnny Logan must have felt the second time he won the Eurovision! I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl.

Although I suspect indifference and charity on someone elses part may have led to my wins.

lets forget about the rest of the levels and split the winnings!
    I can't take this pressure!

like Doc Farrell I did a Johnny Logan on it. except where he won twice in a row, I'm out in the first round two years running.

roll on next year. hopefully ill have reigned in my gamblor HU tendencies by then
