Ok here goes, i posted here a while ago about being in a situation with my friends Gf and that she was always comin on to me, got some great advice,

Anyway a couple of months down the line i am now single and she is now single. My GF got a job offer in Oz (a really great job offer) and i have just bought somewhere to live so i didnt want to go, but i do still love her but her being on the other side if the planet we decided there wasnt much point being in a relationship especially as she cant just some home for the weekend etc.

The other girl found out my friend was cheating on her! major major shock there folks so she dumped him.

We are both single about a month and have been out a few times with mutual friends and have gotten pretty close i.e. hugging holding hands etc. Anyway a friend of ours is having a dinner party/session on saturday night and my house is a lot closer to the party than hers so she suggested that she stay with me and i can drop her home in the morning, now i have 3 bedrooms but i'm pretty sure i know which one shes gonna stay in...

Ok she is my friends ex and they went out for quite a while but tbh i have no qualms about banging her senseless for the entire night, breaking the rule i know.....

Anyway i would like to do it in a romantic way, but i dont want to leave candles burning while i'm not in the house for a few ours!!

IMHO i would say that chasing after a mates ex is ok if you genuinly like her and see it potentially going somewhere (long term/marriage etc etc)

Now to get back on topic. I agree with matt. If you're just after a one-nighter then it might be aswell off to steer clear for the sake of your friendship. If you're genuinely interested though you should definitely go for it.

The best piece of advice I can give regarding being romantic is not to drink to much at the party. That way you'll have your wits about you when you bring her back and you'll be able to make her feel special. Also make sure she indicates she's going to sleep with you on the way home or when you get home just in case you end up in an embarrasing situation

she will see that you respect her (and aren't a slob), rather than seeing her as a bit of a slapper who you think will put out to save a taxi fare.

Expect nothing, and you'll only be pleasantly suprised. There's no real art to seducing but you know yourself, you're much more receptive to a smiling flirty girl when you're out, so try and smile, make lots of eye contact, all that stuff, and if she's in the mood for it, you're away in a hack. Things have been going well the last few days anyway guys we've been txtin/emailin talkin on the phone, she even offered to help me put a "womans touch" in my new house tbh i do like her but as we are both just out of relationships i dont really want to rush it,

Also i sounded out my friend last night and he wasnt happy but he says aslong as i care about her and dont mess her around he's ok with it, could be awkward on nights out though!!
