Im thinking of moving my workout from 8 in the evening to about 6:30 in the morning.
Im be rearranging my diet so that Im getting a good bit of protein into me afterwards
Will I need to eat before I start and how long will I need to wait before I can start, I want to be finished before 7:45 (that includes warm up)
Any other advice, ie what to eat is much appreciated

Yeah, you'll need to eat before the workout, if you don't chances are you'll be going at least 6 hours without eating beforehand and won't have the energy reserve's there.

From my experience I have a bowel of porridge & mug of tea at 5:30, then drink my NO-xpolde at 6:30 and start in the gym at 7:30. Never had a problem so far.
It's also a lot nicer to go to the gym in the morning there's hardly anyone there, so you're not waiting for machines, and you also feel "wide awake" when you start work!!

I usually eat half a large banana about 30 minutes beforehand and then have breakfast immediately afterwards (porridge with mixed seeds and walnuts).

I'm mostly doing cardio right now but I imagine a weights workout would require something more substantial before going in!

I go at 7am but usually its on an empty stomach.
Mostly cardio with a small bit of weights thrown in.

Footballers etc normally eat lots of carbs like pasta the night before a match. I presume this would help but I am trying to lose fat too, so dont want extra food. I would prefer to be able to start straight away upon waking up. I was even thinking of waking up at say 5.30, eating a big breakfast, sleeping again and getting up at 7.30 to workout for 20-25mins. Then do 20mins more in the evening.

Does anybody do this? (eat and then sleep again).

Get bloody started then talk about what to do next!!

Get up drink some water- eat banana or half one - train weights or cardio or both - shower - eat - rest

Repeat at least 5 times per week, enough talking about what you are going to to and just get going first
