I think Ive pulled or strained my quad muscle (just over the right knee). Its fairly sore to move, especially climbing stairs. I aggrevated it by playing astroturf last Tuesday. Got a little pull on it last summer but nothing big. Now it really hurts.

Any advice as to what I do with it apart from taking it easy?

Some neuro muscular therapy / physio will help :)

yeah physio, it could be a number of knee injuries, some require stretching and some require rest, get it checked out. i had a problem with my knee from cycling, i thought i would just stretch it out but i was doing the totally wrong thing, kept me of my bike for a month.

    Acupuncture and rest.
