Memo: To all nest employees.

It has come to my attention that some of you have not been working to your full capacity.

The quality of posts has remained high, but the output has dropped to dangerously low levels.

Even when adjusted for seasonal changes, the overall output in the nest is way below where it should be.

The purpose of this memo is to make you aware of this, not berate you.

I'm sure with a little hard work, we can all turn this around!!

    CMON, GO TEAM!!

    Letter to Nest Management

Hey! You jokers get what you pay for! Slave wages and no benefits! How can you expect surplus value for your euro if you don't give us any, huh? Now, if you crank up the benefits, we must might provide a little service. How about taking a few euros from your golden parachutte and redistributing some to us?

Now just remember the old saying, "management gets the union it deserves!" And we just might set up a collective bargaining unit to negotiate a contract that represents our interests (including getting management to come in from the golf course once in awhile and do a little work, too!).

    What say ye, management you?

My output is not at all bad for someone who is past the peak teenage years ...

    <_<

Now B!ue, don't go causing trouble, you know as well as I do that this nest of ours is a communal and non profit organisation.

Now, if you crank up the benefits, we must might provide a little service.

B!ue, get into my office and we can discuss benefits and servicing.

Come to your office with the door closed? What ever happened to the "open door policy?" Huh? And besides, I don't need anymore exercise running about your desk having just come from a workout at the dojang.

Now, if I can bring my sword, I can serve up a grand management sushi!

It went out the window with the 'out de window' policy.

Weapons? At work? Get into my office now, I may have to frisk you, for security reasons, I assure you.

You will bend and flex as required to meet the demands of the management.

That's fine by me, you can take it sitting down.

No way! I have advanced beyond seiza to tatehiza and will be pleased to demo my new Iaijutsu technique of drawing and cutting in one motion. What should I chop? Something that will make us all equal in the spirit of equality in the workplace?

How about some onions? And make a bit of dinner for me?

    Or perhaps your bra?

Typical managment. Thinking that all we are good for is getting the coffee and cooking you lunch. Things have changed! We are now professionals that can't cook. And besides, we gave up burning bras way back in the 60s!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,243 ✭✭✭✭Jesus Wept

You have far more functionality than just that.

You were a mere twinkle back in the 60's young lady.

Yes, I am skilled! Keep that in mind during the next performance review!

As for the 60s, I wasn't even a twinkle of a twinkle way back then when you were growing up to become Old Management!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,243 ✭✭✭✭Jesus Wept

I'll keep it in mind, I'm just waiting for the performance.

We don't use the 'old' word around here, 'experienced' is what you mean.

As stated this a voluntary organisation, and non profit.

    Show some decorum woman.

I prefer Homer's line: 'take this job and re-staff it'

If management would care to return my gameboy then my work rate would increase 100 fold.

Bit childish Kojak! The memo was just a reminder that we can still achieve the high standards set in days gone by.

And what are you striking from? We are an npo here.

I am planning a strike because I believe our organisation needs a bit of civil unrest.

So, management can stick that in their pipes and smoke it!!!!!!
