my sister does an hour(sometimes an hour and a half) a day on this contraption...

    http://www.erlebnisladen.de/cgi-bin/internationalshop/iboshop.cgi?showd590!0,,9901492

I think shes doing way too much exercise- This is every day shes not giving her body a break and i know for a fact she is burning like 800-900 cals a day on this thing(says it on the computor thing on the gazelle) and shes eating around 1400 cals a day

She says she would normally eat about 1400 cals a day if she was on a diet anyway and that the only diff is shes doing a lot of exercise

Shes been doing this the last week and has lost 10 pounds

    Can anyone settle this?

if you're trained you can easily do a hours exercise a day. On a busy weel I'll do more than 20 hours. What you should not be doing is a lot of exercise without fueling this work properly. I think she needs to look at her diet first and amount of exercise second. Unless she is very old or very small 1400 calories seems like too little and likely to make her bosy think it is starving.

Someone more knowlegeable will be along soon to give a better answer.

You would want to be small in height and weight at 1400 calories a day aged 22. An hour a day is not bad for you, but over-training and under-eating is. What is her diet like, how tall is she, what weight is she?
