Water Retention

Anyone know the name of any water retention tablets?

I'm feeling pretty bloated for the last couple of weeks and wanted to try these to see if that's what's wrong with me. But I don't want to go into my local chemist full of questions. I'd much prefer to go in and ask for something, pay for it and walk out.

    Thanks in Advance.

You should really talk to the pharmacist. They can offer good advice.

Drinking lots of water is great for flushing water out. Weird eh?

I've been trying to drink more water.. but I find the more stressed out I get in work, the more I forget to drink water! So would often go all day with only one glass in front of me.

Thats why. Drink lots of water and cut down drastically on your salt intake.

Drinking lots of water is THE best way to get rid of excess water pure and simple. Cutting down on tea/ coffee and reducing salt in your diet will help too, and there's a number of different herbal remedies as well, although none will help unless you're already getting enough water in. A minimum of 2L a day, preferably 3-4L.

Drinking warm water with a squeeze of lemon juice is a natural diuretic, and Sona do a herbal tablet called Duiretik that's not bad - it has dandelion root in it, which is probably the best natural supplement. Milk thistle does work too, but is usually used as a liver detox supplement. Other herbal diuretics you can try include horse chestnut and juniper berry.
