Lidl gear

    Just to let you know - Lidl have some fishing gear at the moment.

    Not professional stuff obviously but handy as backups. They have a fly rod there for 36euro which I might buy as a spare.

    I just bought their fly rod and tried it out in the garden.

    Its actually not bad - to be honest, I can't really tell the difference between it and my normal rod - except its a foot shorter. Handy as a spare anyway. BTW - you also get a fly line and a leader with it and about 10 flies. I'd say 2 or 3 of the flies could be useful for me from initial inspection.

    I bought the tackle bag yesterday.

    Good quality.

    It contained six large plastic tackle boxes which took up the entire interior of the bag.
