I'm looking for people to test Gold Mine - iPoker Edition, a hand grabber for iPoker clients.

Anyone who wants to test send me a pm. If you test you must send me at least one email/pm with a piece of feedback on the program, however small. In return you get to use the program for free for the duration of testing or till the 15th May, whichever is longer.

Thanks to everyone who has helped testing this - there have been a few even though no replies here.

Is anyone/everyone able to open more than 8 tables? I can open as many as I like on Carlos poker but only 8 on VC. I have cash lodged in Carlos and not with VC which may be the difference, anyone know?

hey Flibble,

on GJP I can open only 8 tables. Will check noble later and let you know. Testing still going fine with no unknown problems, will catch you on MSN later.

have cash with GJP and Noble and can only open 8.

have you any ideas what's causing the auto-import failure in PT? I think this is the most important feature for a datamining application. Any need for manual hh selection makes it far too laborsome IMO. Havnt found any bugs as yet.

1 feature which would be really nice would be an app that will aotomatically open the tables for you. So you give it a specific level and the minimum number of players that need to be seated in order to open the table. I'm not sure how easy this would be, but its a feature included in SpadeEye and a FT mining program both of which are fantatsic as they are both fully automated.

This is planned for future versions. But mind you, without cheating its really really really really really hard to program. Nevertheless I'll give it a try once 2.0 is fully operational. So hopefully in version 2.2 as we have something else in store for 2.1...

I just tested auto importing while Gold Mine is running and didn't get any errors over 60 hands/7 imports.

Also, auto-importing hands after you stop Gold Mine works fine for me. Just add the Gold Mine folder to the auto import bit in PT and click force import when you are finished mining. 10k hands I mined last night got imported without error.

I've only tested NLH, what game are you mining?

Please note that version 1.7 does not work with Noble poker at all. Its tested with PPP and GJP for all three table sizes. If anyone successfully tested it with other skins please let me know. Please test all three table sizes, thanks.

Yeah same with me 8 max on GJP. So do you have to have cash to be able to mine, could i open an account at carlos and datamine as many tables as i like without having to make a deposit??

You don't need any cash with any site to mine. You just need an account to open tables, you don't have to give any personal details/money info.
Carlos poker seems to have a bug/feature that allows you to open (or play at if you have cash ac) as many tables as you like.

im getting a- Windows host process (RunDll32) has stopped working- error when i start up goldminer .PPower.
the program itself dosnt close but dosnt pick up all tables and also starts moving them around between monitors. it isnt picking up HH either.
im running vista 32bit so maybe this is the reason for the error.

PO is working fine but closes down after 1 table closes.(bug with vista)
Also if you could get an auto open tables like idleminer working if possible

Sure, it was $19.99 initially and then reduced to $9.99.
I haven't decided the price for this version yet, I will let you know as soon as I do.

Ste or someone that's good at working out the bonus deals. How does Carlos bonus workout? Its 2k for 300k FPP. RB is available as well for 30%. Sounds pretty good as payments arent deducted from RB.

• Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,666 ✭✭✭Imposter

I've been told 45% is available on Carlos. I'm not sure if that's the number after the bonus calculation but it sould like it could be.

• Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,754 ✭✭✭ianmc38

I've just completed my 1st 24hour mining session on Ipoker and no bugs at all. Auto-import has also been working with Carlos. Have you tested auto-import with GJP Conor?

• Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 628 ✭✭✭jacQues

• Added a pause animation to indicate paused state and how to unpause.
• Shortened popup time. (you can also disable this entirely in the configuration)
• Table count is now "assumed" instead of on a per-run basis. This should remove confusion about it going up and down, since it shouldn't do that as much anymore.
Also I'm working to make GMP2 compatible with Noble poker. Their skin is so different that it requires a separate detection. So maybe its going to be a configuration setting if I cannot make it auto-detect.

Has anyone tested GMP2 with Poker Office yet?

It was actually quite easy to get it working in 1.8 using the mini-table view. Would this be sufficient? Fully auto-detect and only not working for Noble medium/large tables. I'm not sure if this would be an problem/obstacle?

If I make it work for Noble medium/large tables it would mean either an extra configuration setting or a slowdown in performance because of many extra checks.

Okay i've found a couple pretty serious issues:

1. Pots seem to be awarded to the wrong player all the time.
2. If a player pushes for 1000 and someone calls for 1 and wins, goldmine tells PT that the person who pushed lost 1000 in the hand

As much as these are unnecassary in terms of the basic stats ie VPIP/PFR/AF, i think it's pretty worrying that all the biggest losers in my mined database are in fact the biggest winners...

• Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,563 ✭✭✭sikes

i just downloaded it there and have no code or anything. but i opened it anyway when i had the cdpoker skin open with a table, it recognised the table first of all then the table count in goldmine went back to 0. but the weired thing was that the cursor kept resetting itself over the chat options on the screen. no hands were saved.

though this was running in demo mode.

running vista.

• Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 628 ✭✭✭jacQues

ianmc38: For those occasions, does the dealer say something like "$xx returned to player."? In any case, can you pm me an actual example from the dealer window? (copy/paste all lines from that hand). I'll fix it.

sikes: Maybe the cdpoker skin is too different. I'll donwload it tomorrow, create an account and test it out. Most probably I will add code (v1.9+) to detect cdpoker properly.

This happened to me too on Carlos Poker, so i downloaded the 1.7 version and it still wouldnt pick up the tables. It would recognise the tables the cursor would disappear for a split second but no hands were recorded

Okay. Carlos added to the "test this skin" list. Also I will make a configuration setting where you can opt to bypass the checks. E.G. let Gold Mine simply mine without checking. For this to work, the table options must be set correctly manually. For iPoker there seems to be much more freedom for skins to change the looks then it was the case for Tribeca.

You need to have the tables maximised on Carlos poker, otherwise Golmine doesnt recognise them...

Changes done for version 1.9 so far (NOT available yet!):
• CD poker: Small table now works, medium and large tables are too different and won't work.
• Carlos poker: Small table now works in addition to medium/large tables.
• Gold Mine.ini - SetChatOptions: New setting to disable the many checks done, so skins that are very different still work. Note that this applies to medium/large tables. Checks are still performed for small tables, because all skins (should) work when using small tables. When "no", the chat options MUST be set correctly manually.
To do list, before v1.9 can be released:
• Fix problems with Poker Office (still waiting for feedback).
• Fix stack issues (as reported by ianmc38).
• Fix Vista 32 bit problem (not sure how/what since I cannot test it here).

List of skins tested (v1.9+):
• Carlos poker: all tables work (v1.8: medium/large tables work)
• CD poker: small tables work (v1.8: doesn't work)
• Green Joker Poker: all tables work
• Noble poker: small tables work
• PaddyPower Poker: all tables work

I just found the error and why it didn't show up earlier. Winnings were not comma-stripped. They are in v1.9+. Because of that, the tests I ran (with amounts not reaching $1,000) didn't show this problem. Fixed now. I am guessing (hoping) that this may also be the problem with Poker Office.

If only I could test the Vista 32 bit problem myself. <sigh> I asked in the AutoIt forum but no one else had this problem. I'm not using any external libraries either. I will probably create v1.9 using UPX. Maybe the absence of UPX was the cause (cannot think how but its worth a shot).

Yes. This information is not available in the chat window. However, once a player goes all-in Gold Mine knows his/her stack and will use that information.

Now, just so ye all know, a little announcement:

I will be testing a new server-side feature for the new version 1.9. This may result in getting version errors on startup. If this happens simply continue/retry.
