Im 5ft6 64kgs (10 stone, I think) Ive just started to lift weights as I have little girl arms, no offence to the women out there
Ive totally overhauled my diet and cut out almost all the crap I was eating, my main issue is tuna, I just cant eat it, gave it a go on Saturday, mixed it with chicken soup, stuck cotton wool up my nose so I wouldnt smell it and I was still struggling, Ive worked out that Im taking in about 160g or protein a day, thats including a shake, so do I have to grin and bear the taste of the tuna or can I cut it out
Also, I take a few spoons of sugar on my weetabix in the morning, is that to be cut or am I ok with that (or is there a better option that weetabix)

Why do you feel you have to eat tuna? Because it's one of those stereotypical protein sources? You don't have to eat it if you don't want to. Find another source.

Sugar - it's not going to kill you, and if it makes you happy sure why not. a Little in moderation etc. I think a better option is porridge oats and honey.

what kind of tuna are you eating?

I still can't eat canned or jarred stuff as the smell gets me but find if I get fresh tuna steaks they are basically odour free.

I usually have a little honey on weetabix, not much better than sugar but feels healthier. or slice some banana for sweetness instead.

yeah went for the tuna as thats what I was always told
It was the tinned stuff, your man West makes it I think
Porrige is my 3rd meal of the day so dont want to over do it, will have to give honey a go on the weetabix some morning

If you put the can of tuna into the fridge for a few hours before you eat it, it doesnt' smell or taste like anything.

try some fresh tuna steaks, grilled or baked in foil. really nice and I hate the tinned stuff too. as people say above you don't have to eat tuna, but I like to mix it and salmon into my weekly menu to get some protein from fish.

I dont eat anything I dont like. In many threads here people have this notion "if it tastes nice it must be bad for you", a "no pain no gain" attitude. People have talked of forcing down yoghurt, porridge, tuna etc.

I dont like tuna, I eat some white fish but eat barnyards of chickens! and I love chicken. I make pancakes with porridge oats, milk & whey or an egg.

Force feeding will not work, like gimmicky diets, people have to "go on them", i.e. they plan on giving them up after suffering for a few months. Never going to last in the long run, pick decent foods you like to eat and stick with it for life.
