    Morning heads,
Bit of a problem, I am fairly new to the work out scene, I have always been very active, playing some sort of sport 2-3 times a week but never really had the time for the gym as it was always to far away from me.
I have recently moved closer to a gym so no more excuses. What I want to do it lose a bit of weight.
I am 5'11, 15stone, fairly well built so the weight doesnt look out of place if that makes any sence.
What I would like to acheive is lost the extra weight around my chest, firm and tone things up a bit. I would also like to get the stomach on order but the priority at the moment is the chest.
What exercises are good for buring fat in this area?
as I am nwe to all this any advice would be massively appreciated.

    cheers,
    boobies Mc boobison

I think the majority of the responses will get will be of the nature of you can't achieve localised fat lose. You can work on muscles in specific areas but if your body fat is high your body fat is high. A read of the stickies is in order.

Yeah you will not spot reduce it. Having a bigger upperbody will make them look less like boobs though, more like a wrestlers build.
Lifting heavy weights will help you shed a lot of fat, as well as build up the muscle underneath.

Work on all areas of your body with resistance training and get your diet intact and as your body fat drops so will your manboobs!! diet really is the key, get a balanced program that covers chest, back and legs as with this you should cover everything for starters..best of luck.

I think my diet is alright but not 100% sure.
Morning - bowl of cereal and coffee. always have a couple of apples and bannana through the day
Lunch - carvery lunch, meat, spuds and veg.
Evening - Usually just a sambo, a couple of eggs or another bowl of cereal just depends on what time I get home form work at.

I dont eat all that much, not a snacker. I stay away from fast food and take aways.

I know theres no magical foods in there like the shakes you guys talk about but what I do eat is just simple good food.
    Thats ok, right?

Diet has a very powerful affect on your body its worth spending some time thinking about what actually enters your body.

You need to read the stickies.

Bread and cereal in the evening is generally a bad idea if you want to lose fat.
You need more healthy fat, you need more protein and you need to eat more often.

    The stickies will help.
