I'm trying to buy some tribulus online prerarably using an Irish site. THe few I've looked at don't stock it and somebody mentioned to me that its illegal in Ireland. Is this true? Where do all BBs here get it? Is it any good? Danke.

I think it's classed as a medicine over here so it can't be bought over the counter, *cough cough*

Importing from abroad usually lands you with a letter from IMB.

What's its purpose anyways? Test booster or summat? Just curious.

Ah right, won't have to worry about something like that for a few years then.

Yeah there's not much evidence supporting it's effects bit I certainly got use out of it.

Might just try and order it from the UK and see what happens. I'm in dire need of some testosterone. I feel like a Ken doll these days and I'm only 23.

I have seen it for sale in some health food shops. I think Nature's Way (or some generic name liek that) in Merchant's Quay in Cork has it. On the other hand you could always order it on Ebay or from a European site which is unlikely to be examined.
I only found it gave me more spots for a short while. Then again I'm almost 21 so I doubt I'm in much need of extra test but hey it couldn't really hurt.

True, some of the shops in Dublin have it in their store rooms. But they're not allowed put it on the shelves or sell it cos they get in trouble!!

If that's the case then surely you can go to your doctor and get a prescription?

Pumpkin seed oil and ZMA for all your testy needs, tbh.

What sort of side effects are you looking at?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,635 ✭✭✭tribulus

Eh it's just tribulus, not some sort of AAS, so none really.

People are overestimating it's effect. At worst, it will do nothing except you'll maybe get a placebo effect from taking a test booster supplement.

At best you'll get some increase in test and *maybe* make quicker gains than normal and have more energy but it just wouldn't compare to a proper cycle of gear.

For my money people are looking to influence the wrong hormone. Is test important? Sure it is, but it will be what it will be. Legal supplements will only do so much, maybe make a small dent in your hypo-gonadism should you have an underproductive man bag. ( that’s a scientific term right there folks ) and as T-ha pointed out, good sleep, good diet, less stress, good rest will do a lot more for most trainees than supps. Add in some pumpkin seed oil as I mentioned and your golden.

Nope, in my opinion you want to be aiming to influence insulin, GH and adrenaline. "How do I do that?" I notice you don't ask? Well, you eat a good diet, get good sleep, you have less stress and good rest and you train hard.

See what I'm getting at here?
