I had to stop just south and east of Gorey a while ago, and noticed these signs on some gates. Is there a dispute between the landowner and the ESB ?

    No idea..

But aren't they building a bypass in the area? Could be something to do with that.. can't make out the company name under the logo

The company is Fanning and French and Associates Ltd.

Strange one alright, guess the land owners are having problems with ESB workers.

I think it's a row over the ESB demanding to erect power pylons for a new lecky main line and the landowners saying they aren't getting enough compo or don't want the pylons going across their land.
