    Hey all,

Just looking for some diet tips, current situation as follows:

    Age - 19
    Height - 5'6"
    Weight - 189 lbs (roughly 13.5st or 86 kg)

    Exercise -

    4/5 days gym, workout includes...

    10-20 minutes crosstrainer
    10-20 minutes bike
    10 minutes rowing

2-3 sets of 12-15 reps bench press, keeping it light at 30kg at the moment
2-3 sets of 12-15 reps leg press, 100kg
2-3 sets of 12-15 reps lateral pulldown, 25-35kg
2-3 sets of 12-15 reps pec deck, 25-35kg
2-3 sets of 12-15 reps, low row, 30-40kg
2-3 sets of 20 reps ab crunches
Some form of arm exercise with an 8kg kettlebell (can't put my finger on the name at the minute, involves pushing kettlebell up over head, standing)

Depending on time will get 30 minutes swimming in - breaststroke, not too vigorous.

Work as cabin crew so spend a lot of the day walking up and down the aircraft, occasionaly moving heavy items etc etc.

Problem with diet at the moment is that it's all convenience based - crew food (ie airline food - covered in fat, but free), little snacks here and there such as pringles, chocolate, etc, go to McDonalds and get takeaway pizza/indian far too often. Changing work schedules leave my body out of whack and I end up pigging out on silly things like a whole share size bag of maltesers or a whole 12" pizza. Also drink far too much Coke.

My weight kept quite stable before I started going to the gym, so despite the pig-outs I think the physical activity involved in my job covered that. Hopefully with a bit more activity now I'll see some losses but I'm worried that it'll be a painfully slow process so hoping to tweak my diet.

Basically, I need something do-able, that's filling and either can be bought off the shelf ready to eat or is easy to prepare. At work, I'm limited drinks-wise to what's on board - water, juices, smoothies, soft drinks, tea/coffee etc. Also can't take on any food that's overly-liquidy. I'm an awful cook so if I do take packed lunches they have to be idiot-proof to prepare. Can use the oven on the plane if things need to be heated.

Any ideas at all? Particularly any handy tips for weaning off the junk food smile.gif

    Thanks in advance smile.gif
