    General Security \ Windows Question

Does anyone here use Symantec Corporate Edition v10

If so how do you deploy it?

Ive been trying to find a way to update our clients with the latest version, coming from versions 8-9 to v10. Ive been through the Symantec site but found it lacking, the Symantec System Console says its pushing out the client but the PC's aren't getting the new version.. Ive been on the phone to Symantec Support for the last 2 hours but the tech I was dealing with is reading the same notes I pulled off the web.

Perhaps this would also apply to other AV Corp products, what is the best way to push out the client / or your preferred way or doing it?

I could try and package the client software and push it out using a GPO but I haven't had much success with this is the past..

Has anyone any nuggets of wisdom?

Get a Symantec manager online and share this?

Just in case any one ever pulls this up from a search

Ended up actually using a GPO to apply the client install with elevated privilages, worked out pretty well
