    I'm doing the following routine:

    M:
    3x10
    Back squats
    bench press
    bent over rows

    W:
    5x5
    Deadlift
    Military press
    Chinups

    F:
    4x6
    Front Squats
    Reverse grip bendt over row
Bench press (use different width grip than monday)

It's given me a pretty wiry physique but I'm trying to gain mass. I took progain with no effect. THe problem I have is I have little appetitie and eating to put on mass makes me feel sick. Can anyone reccomend a good gainer?

    Thanks

Hey man, i know its tough but you really have to be eating everything in sight (to a certain extent i.e. once its healthy to) to gain any weight. At the start i found it hard to stomach a lot of food but my problem was i was eating it all in only three meals.

My advice would be to break it down into 5 or 6 meals throughout the day with an even balance of carbs/protein/calories in each. It might seem hard at first but you soon adjust and begin to wonder how you ever managed on less food. Read the stickies for suggestions. Nuts, olive oil, oats etc. are all good, nutritious sources of healthy calories. Also, you wont gain weight unless youre training full on.

And when you hav your diet and training sorted, word has it that Nutrition-X's RAM is the best post-workout meal replacement formula.

Hope that helps and good luck;)

I despise the taste of Progain, it tasted like rancid banana. Maximuscle told me squash shouldn't make huge differences but they couldn't vouch it would work as well as with water. The taste was awful unless I added squash.

It;s the holidays now and my meals go like this. Here was yesterdays

    weetabix(2)

something along the lines of sardines, pasta, beans

    turkey potoatoes(2) broccoli(3) peas

I usually eat a lot of rice and chicken, they're my two main sources of food.
I eat nuts, fruit and stuff in between if theyre around, same goes for junk:o in my house it gets eaten too fast to leave

    Hey dude,

you need to eat a lot more food in order to grow. I would suggest aiming for a 40/40/20 split of carbs, protein and healthy fats as you seem to be a bit insulin resistant.

There is no point in trying to go from the calories you are eating now to double that to gain mass, your body is not used to it. Add in a simple extra meal each day, when that becomes the norm add another one.

Do things slowly and gradually to make them work. Also, read the stickies and such for meal structures and timing.

Cheers, but what do you mean by insulin resistant?

I've added in an extra meal of chicken and rice around 8.30 and increased weetabixes to 4, wil that do for extra food for now?

    THanks
