Due to crazy working hours and because I live so far from the gym I decided to begin in investing in a home gym.

Right now I've got a olympic bar, an ez curl bar, bench, preacher bench(all thanks to Mickk) And in the next day or two I'll have my power cage finished.(All that drilling takes time)

I'm looking for advice as to what exercises I could hope to do with what I have and maybe help with my whole routine.

I was thinking of something like the following:
    Monday - Back
    Deadlifts, barbell rows, Chin ups
    Tuesday - Shoulders and Triceps
Military press, Shrugs, Side laterals with plate
Dips, Skull crushers, close grip bench press
    Thursday - Legs
Squats, Calf raises, Stiff leg deadlift, lunges
    Friday - Chest and Biceps
Incline, decline and normal bench presses
Barbell curls and ez bar curls

    What do you think?

I'm also looking for advice on Abs exercises because its one area that I neglect on.

The split looks fine, With a cage and an adjustable bench, you're only really limited by the amount of plates you have!

Planks, hanging leg raises, as well as some of these http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=1515405 for some abwork ideas.

If you're squatting and pulling regularly though they're getting some work as it is.

    Best of luck with it.

I'd say there's no need for any specific ab work. As tribulus says, squats and deads hit the abs as do bent over rows, chin ups, standing military presses and many other compound movements.

But if you do decide to do ab work you could get/make an ab wheel

Class! That abwheel reminds me of the monkeys in the Wizard of Oz. Didn't they have wheels on the end of their arms? (not visible in the link)

No gym pics just yet. Haven't got the power cage fully finished.

Here's some pics from early on in the build of the drilling I mentioned earlier

Nice, nothing beats a bit of hands on work and a lot of machinery.

Sorry about the delay in replying. But I had more to do to finish it off than I thought

It was one of the magnetic drills from work.

Here's a few more pics of the finished(or near finished) product. I regret not taking more pics when I was making it(setting out, tacking, welding, etc) but hey - there's always a next time(I'm thinking of a lat pulldown machine next...)

    Awesome stuff!

Nice finish, I like the colour, hope those tiles can take some deadlifting though!

Wow nice work on the rack, now I know who to come to if I need any custom equipment made... Why not just do hanging leg raises from the rack for abs? Also if you are lifting on the tiles that might not be even put the bench where you will be lifting and tighten up the bolts for the feet there.

Nope, the monkeys had wings. In the sequel there were baddies (wheelers?) that had wheels on their hands and feet. They freaked me out.
