Just wondering can anyone recommed a personal trainer or I am best going with someone based out of a gym.

I feel if Id be more motivated to train each day if I'd paid for couple hour slots with a personal trainer who worked directly with me.

Any ideas of the cost and do they develope a plan around you cause I am totally out of shape.

Would it not motivate you more to save your hard earned cash and spend it on healthy food and habits?

Ask people in your gym to help / show you whatever exercise they are doing .... or ask the gym instructor to put together a program for you. Shouldn't cost anything.

Have you been to the gym before or just starting out?

One new personal trainer in my gym here in London came over to me back in Novemember and offered his services for £40 per hour, 3 times a week, ... for 12 weeks  Talk about pushy  This was whilst I was in the middle of a 5km run at about 14kmph.

    I can't recommend Aidan http://www.focusfitness.ie/personal_trainer.htm highly enough.

He's the only trainer I've ever had, and I was so lucky to hook up with him when I was getting started. Really takes an interest and is EXTREMELY knowledgable. I know he's competed in bodybuilding and is very well versed in several martial arts.

He thought me alot and I attribute much of my early success to him showing me the way. I haven't seen or spoken to him in about 18 months but he's someone who I would definately call again if I ever needed help.
