What does she like to do?

Why dont you bring her for a bite to eat - maybe tapas and then to a comedy club. You will soon find out if you have the same sense of humour....

No need for all the caps dude.
I see nothing wrong with a nice dinner in a little restaurant followed by a drink or two in a pub.
    Do you live in Dublin?
If so El Bahia is a nice little restaurant off Grafton Street, you can find it on the web.
Or Chez Max beside Dublin Castle.

Just make sure you do something that you're both comfortable doing, otherwise things'll have a higher chance of being awkward and a weird atmosphere.
The above suggestions are good, most people like to eat, drink and laugh!

    Relax, enjoy!

yeah i live in dublin and so does she.....thats good advice lads keep it comin..... :) eating in front of a girl for first date??? ya think its ok to have crap in my teeth? just never did the meal thing for a first date...always pub....but sounds good.....any other ideas of like best date ever kind of thing?

Well I think girls are impressed when the guy puts some thought and effort into the date.....

No flowers / choclates etc but just have a plan for her when you are making the arrangements to meet... As for going for a meal its a nice idea but can create a lot of pressure hence the tapas suggestion. Its small portions of food and gives you something to talk about.

See what concerts / bands are playing on that night and bring her to a gig. Its not rocket science its just about putting in some thought and effort - thats worth more than any money spent on the night.

I tend to reckon that one or two drinks in a quiet pub is good, maybe some food in a not too fancy restaurant.

Sometimes I think women can feel that things seem too serious if you take them to some fancy, formal restaurant. A nice chilled out atmosphere helps make both people more relaxed and be themselves.

Just do what you normally did with the whole pub thing, be comfortable, and have a laugh.

    Good luck ;)

Surprise her with skydiving, it might be costly but ya can be pretty sure it'll be the most memorable 1st date she ever had. http://www.skydive.ie/
