Seems even though I registered my PSN name and not my console, I still qualify for the FREE BD

However I wish I knew that earlier..... I just bought Casino Royale from Sendit.com :rolleyes:

either that or they've cocked it up royale'y (geddit? ) and they're going to have a class action suit on their hands from all the disgruntled fans who should have received BD's.

there was a thread on here awhile back saying pre-register your PSN name to safeguard it from being taken when you finally do get the ps3, which is what i did and possibly a lot more people did as awell, could also have something to do with it

Seems like everyone got there e-mail thats getting it..But what really is pissing me off is i got mine on the 27th march and im sure there wasnt 500,000 consoles sold in ireland and uk..And then to find out that someone who registered on saturday got his e-mail and i had registered the previous tuesday thats pissing me off..Think im gonna have to e-mail them now..

I got the email yesterday evening - I registered at 1 am on the Friday (23rd March) morning.

Also each country is given an allocation of free blu ray discs for that country so with 41 countries elligable, there are a about 11,000 per country.

They were making 475,000 copies available.

i used hotmail and got no email...didnt they say they would email you even if you didnt qualify it would have been a wiser move..

EDIT: OK, after reading it all it sounds like, it IS first come first serve, so if people here registered after the 23rd and they're getting it there's no reason why I shouldnt be getting mine.

I used hotmail, but i dont see how i would have been a problem. I got a confirmation email off them when I registered so i cant see how this would be a problem.

sometimes when u register for forums and sites.......it says dont use hotmail it block us....eg it doesnt junk it. it doesnt let it through at all so u have no way of telling whether it came or not.

nope, mine was registered with an eircom.net address. it looks like you guys may well be on to something. anyone else not get it and using hotmail (or visa versa?

i got mine via my hotmail account , even if hotmail puts it into the junk folder you can still read the mail and tell hotmail that it is not junk and then put it into your inbox.
