Whats the best approach for doin stretches to increase flexibility, as opposed to not gettin stiff muscles after a day at the gym

I'm already pretty flexible, the only area I really need to work on is my legs, but obviously i wouldnt only be doin that

Any good articles / sites / book recommendations about?

    Thanks

If I'm reading correctly, you want to stretch to avoid sorness the day after training?

Do you lift weights in the gym?

    Nope

Im gettin back into MA and wanna be flexible again

I was askin what would be best to boost/improve my flexibilty, as opposed to preventing muscle stiffness. If i was able to do the splits, some of my kicks would be amazingly improved

Basically just wanna know what stretches are the most effective

    thanks

I use a lot of the stretches out of sports stretch a bookby michael Alter. I used to do astanga as well and I really miss it. I had great flexability back then :(
