Lost 1 st where next?

Ok since my USA holidays ( mmm fatty foods ) I have hit my discipline regime built up from reading this forum and other nutritional guides and lost 1 st.

    I was 11st 10 then, now ( for the 1st time in years ) less than 11 at 10st 10/11ish!

    I achieved this in 10 weeks. I am 5 10.

I still want to lose a few more pounds as there is some spare pockets of excess winter fat! hanging around.

I also want to build up uper body. Have strong thoghs from swimming and running over the years. My problem is that to build up I need to start to increase my cal intake?
..... but then will I ever lose those few pounds?

Should I be more patient give it another month to get down to the body fat level I want and then work on bulking or can I combine?

I currently do weights and since Dec have efectively doubled all my lifting abilities, I end every 1 to 2 hr weights session with a 2/3 k run which I feel is doing excellent work in burning the calories.

My diet can only be considered very I good and I eat small and often and virtully no "bad" fats in my diet.
I want to start benching but am worried about not having some one to spot me, last I benched ( before the weights work of late ) was 50kg. Any advice, is this just confidence?

I am dedicated and disciplined ( as a healthy 1stone loss will show ) and am keen for further advice and interrogation on my routine to reach my goal.
Should I seek a session with a PT or can I learn enough here for the next levels given my ability to self discipline?

    thanks in advance
    DM

Ok, you're way ahead of me in terms of dedication and where you are but have you thought about benching dumbbells? I feel a lot more confident with them knowing that if I fail I can simply drop them either side of the bench which kind of eliminates the need for a spotter...

    Male/ Female ?

Seem pretty light if you're a man. Don't think losing a few more pounds shoudl be high on your agenda.

Bulking and leaning CAN be combined you'll be glad to hear. I'm about to link you to something very successful that a few people I know (myself included) swear by. It takes a bit of math work, but it's definately worth it in the end.
