just watched a programme on bbc3 earlier and it was called "fu*k off i'm small" question for the ladies would you go out with a small man lets say under 5ft3 for sake?

Erm, if I fancy I guy, I fancy him - I wouldn't deliberately not go out with a man I fancy because he wasn't a tall man, no - but then I've never been attracted to a man who was shorter than I am.

I'm tall myself so don;t have the height issue, but the programme was interesting one guy 5ft3" hadn't had a relationship in 8 years and not by choice

Isn't 5' 10" small? I was 5' 11" before I stopped growing and just managed to hit 6ft - what a relief.

I'm just short of 6ft so would look ridiculous with anyone below that. Couldn't date a small man no way!!! To accomodate me in heels ideal guy must be 6'2 plus. Am always approached by small fellas though whats with that?

I know this is awful to say this but I'm 5'4 and if a guy was smaller than me not only would i never in hell's chance be attracted to them it would be a turn me off them as a man in general

At first I was thinking yeah you're right, but then I thought about it. I'm not attracted to tall women, and I don't believe this makes me shallow at all. I also prefer brunettes to blondes. I don't think this makes me shallow at all. People are attracted to different physical attributes, what is shallow about that?

However, if you were to ask me would I go out with a tall woman, then I would not say no straight away. It really depends on the person and I would be questioning her personality long before I would ever take her height into account. In saying that, I have been put off by tall women.
