I always wanted to try it but there is no cache near me. The nearest is 18 miles but I'll be going to england in a few weeks where there will be quite a few near where i'm staying. There is supposed to be one on the UCC grounds but someone complained it wasn't there anymore or I woulda gone to check it out. since this forum is full of threads about car-based map satnav GPS i hope at least some of you know what i'm on about

yeah i know what your on about..

there are quite a few caches in the west that are still active.. i', lucky enough to be living near three of them.. only sought out the one so far though..

i presume you have checked out http://www.geocachingireland.com/gci/

for those who haven't click the Irish Caches tab on the side and see if there are any near you..

its a fun thing to do and includes getting a bit of exercise as well :):)
