Building Regulations, Provision for open Fires

    I see so many modern residential buildings being built with no provision for open fires, chimneys etc. I wonder what the current regulations are?

    The Forum on Spirituality has been closed for years. Please bring it back, there are lots of Spiritual people in Ireland and elsewhere.

    Are you talking about apartment blocks or houses? It would be imprtatical in apartments but not so in houses so I would assume there is building regulations in that respect.
