I've got a beer gut, but no receeding hair, am I still welcome here?

Well, does one cut it, or do I need both to participate on this forum?

Because I still have a completely full head of hair, it's long, healthy and shiny, like the mane of a lion or mighty stallion... who happens to drink a lot.

Yes! I think its a state of mind forum. I for one welcome posting from all of the beerish guttish persuasion. My hair is also not particularly thin though, so I may be biased.
Just as long as that scientist doesnt show up.
Though U will have to ask a mod.........
But till then fancy splitting a dominos and grabbing a beer? I got dis here game on dis here TV n we can slowly run out of conversation until mutual grunting comes in.

    Grunt.

It depends on how big your big beer gut is. After your description of your hair, you had better have a big hairy sweaty belly.......

Edit: sorry, just seen how pervy that reads....

    Of course you are welcome.

As long as you don't have a uterus and smell of Nina Ricci.

    Somewhat different.

Anyone who aspires to beerish guttishness and baldness is fine for this forum in my opinion.
Its for men who realise and recognise that bald beer gutted men are the wave of the future and control all the true power in the world.

I don't really think this is the place for me so, I'm aspiring to lose what little beer gut I've got left.

But by that very definition, wimmin could be allowed in here.

    We can't have that!

i'll start one off so ... feel free to add

question: where do we stand on wimmin folks partaking of this forum ? i'm not 100% sure.

Welcome to Beer Guts & Receeding Hair.
This forum is the Ying to the Fitness forum Yang, celebrating popular male stereotypes. You will find threads here on a range of issues covering the broad topic of onset of middle age for males ... including, but not limited to, Beer Guts & Receeding hair, breaking of wind, grunting, crotch grabbing and generally what we like to call The Male Condition.

Receding =/= Receeding ... yeah, we know

    Who is welcome here ?
Primarily men with either a Beer Gut or Receeding Hair
Also, women who live with or want to live with such men.
Finally, anyone who is impacted by Beer Guts or Receeding hair.

Who is not welcome here ?
    Hairy skinny tee-totallers:mad:

    I love that line.

    Who is not welcome here

Those who comb over or wear garments with elasticated waist bands.

"... This forum is the Ying to the Fitness forum Yang..."

the Couch Potato Code (much like the Jedi code, but with more pizzas and beer) obliges me to point out that the Ying/Yang comment was first made by Hashlinging in the Knowing Me, Knowing You - Aha! thread.

I am standing on the shoulders of giants.:)

Actually ...*confession time*, I have more than shoulder long hair

But I'm definetly way past sixpack and fast approaching party keg ...aaand .. I'm officially a grumpy old man (39 b).

    Can I stay?

I have the same predicament, long, flowing (yet uber-manly) mane, but an impressive gut, and a fondness for beer and crotch grabbing. I think I'll like it here.

I think this belly should be the standard for entry onto this forum...

Me belly's a bit oversize, but it's not a beer belly (coz I don't drink beer), so do I qualify? Me thatch is still there, too. Unfortunate, I know, but if this forum is for old (40s+) slobs, then I qualify.

I don't really have a problem at all. I just picked up on your twee, cloying approach is all. It's not such a big deal really. Okay, sorry for that, but I felt the need to say it. It is a forum after all. I should be sticking to the subject alright, but **** it.

What's with the late 19th century lingua franca? I'm taking it a thinly veiled reference to the stonecutters episode in the Simpsons. It's a little moronic.

    Tamburlaine,

you appear to have missed the point of the the forum ever so slightly and boards.ie in particular.

In the space of one thread you have called people "moronic" and accused other people of being "suck ups".

The basic rule on boards.ie is that you try and treat fellow posters with a degree of respect. If you unable to do so then simply post elsewhere. ;)

For clarity, it has to be said that it's a vodka/wine belly, there are strict rules to follow in the Beruthiel Code of Drinking.
    Home/Restaurant = Wine
    Pub = Vodka

Beloved sister beruthiel's modding and general troll killing skills are above reproach, and your classiness with relation to the Vodka / wine code also indicates that you're no cheap date.
