Prob the most dead money filled field ever thanks to all the hype and ultra cheap sats into this.
I would imagine there was quite a few euros like myself who completely missed the first hour also

btw i'm sure most of you are aware of this, but just in case:

on thepokerdb.com you can search for any stars players usernames and see all their mtt results

at this stage of the tournament i usually search for everyone at my table, obviously its only a rough guide but its handy to know who plays/does well regularly, and you can make certain assumptions about people's ranges based on their results to date.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,070 ✭✭✭Ollieboy

just loss a 80k pot when I got it all in with 2 pair v's top pair 9 with K kicker in the turn, river brings a nice red K and they guy thought he played the hand well... pls god

also bust out of the io at 40

flipper your play there isn't terrible or anything, but i would be inclined to check that flop, and possibly give up altogether

the reason is that the range that calls your reraise preflop is basically TT-AA,and AK,with TT-QQ most likely...

these hands will almost always check call against a reraiser on that flop,so your bet is basically to try to avoid a split with AK.

i mean you can't have gone too far wrong when you've only 30bbs,you get 10 of them in preflop with AK,and the rest on the flop, but i would still be inclined to just give up there

wouldn't mind mate, but the flush on the board he really should have respect my bet more, plus the stack size, muppet. made a good call on his push, but couldn't believe the k on the river. Than at the same time I got dog my AQ against my AK in the IO for 5k pot.... hate poker...lol

ah the push is fine with the flush draw without it I'd agree with you

i'm out, stack had dwindled to less than 10bbs and i hadn't raised in a while so i tried to steal with KJo from ep,ran into AK

ah well, just tiltily fluked my way to a double up in the second chance and i'm doing ok in the full tilt thing too,so fingers crossed...

gl to those still in it

his play after the flop was horrible, how he thought he was good there i dont know. Loved the ' but i had a backdoor flush draw' line for justifying shoving his entire stack in with when he could have easily been drawing dead.

    gl both
    5pin5 whats your username?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,070 ✭✭✭Ollieboy

its now become a preflop poker game, very little flops, more reraise from the blinds etc. There's very little chance to out play people with this type of poker, anyway gl Eamonn.

Hope to bump into you later, much later...
