hey whitewash...please save the images as jpegs not gifs, they are a nightmare to edit later. at least for me anyway

but i dont understand what you mean by they are a nightmare to edit later on. whats the problem with jpegs over gifs?

Gifs use a localised dynamic palette which mean that alot of the colour can be comprimised in the format change over and can lead to grainy uglyness. Im not sure if this is in any way the correct definition but generally I find that gifs should only be used in block colour or monotone images. By all means correct me if i'm wrong as this all came from the dark reaches of my own mind

Btw why is the spellchecker american ? It underlines > colour <

the spell checker is built into your browser not boards!:)

If you are working on a .gif and need to drag a .jpg image (or part of an image) into the .gif image in photoshop then simply change the mode of the .gif to RGB:

>Image>Mode>RGB Colour

then you can do what you like.
