The problem seems to be the last line (line 895) in /javascript/dhtmlmenu.js - there's a straggling "}" on its own that's causing a syntax error.

There is nothing dynamic about the menu when you aren't logged in, it's just a static set of links.

There's now four webservers, and the load seems to be ok. The lack of shortcuts is a result - we'll sort that out shortly.

Thats the terrifying thing....

The admins are sitting on IRC watching the numbers creep north like some bad B movie.

We havent even got the drop downs in there so the site is a bit of a nightmare to navigate and still we've broken our most users record a few times today.

erm, the shortcuts aren't up on Safari, but at least they are working fine for me on Firefox.

Edit: 2 minutes later and they won't work on Firefox but do on Safari! i'm not going to ask... i assume everything will sort itself out

aha, that would be why sometimes when I go to boards, the subscribed threads that I have already read show up as unread? usually it is with only a few mins delay between visits...
