boot problem pls HELP !

    hi all,turned on my desktop tonight and syscheck started running it would not go past 1% then it booted up put in my password and it hung on a blank desktop,then some sort of savedump error popped up and then it rebooted,from then it just goes through the boot cycle to the windows splash screen with the scrolling progress bar then it starts the boot process all over again and this just keeps happening in the same circle over and over again,ive tried to reinstall windows and it gets as far as windows is starting then the boot cycle starts again,i removed the hard drive and tried to install windows on a new hard drive and the same thing happens,im at a complete loss as to what has happened,any help would be brilliant thanks a million ?

To do this, the easiest way is to get your hands on a Linux iso, boot it, copy your files to some other device (like an external harddrive to an mp3 player), and then install Windows.

    To boot a CD, watch the screen while the computer is booting - while it's black, it'll put up a notice like "Press DEL for Setup" - press whatever it tells you to (or randomly hit F1-F12 and Delete until you get into Setup) Then find the "Boot Order" and put the CD-drive ahead of the Hard drive.

    After you've saved your files, boot the Windows CD. Do a full format when it asks you, and then install. Happy days!
