    United:

    VDS

    Neville
    Rio
    Vidic
    Evra

    Giggs
    Scholes
    Carrick
    Ronaldo

    Larsson

I'll take a draw right now.

Pool on top atm but spurning chances. :(

    Mike.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,346 ✭✭✭✭KdjaCL

Tight game. both teams are good enough to need only one chance, both defences well aware of that. No clear chances yet a few strikes for pool so far.

    Needs a goal /looks at betting slip /actually 2 goals each :D

Strange sub - Gonzo off Aurelio on. Pennant should be on for Momo.

    Mike.

Looking like one of those games... Utd to get a jammy 94th minute goal with their one and only decent chance. Probably from Ferdinand or someone unexpected.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Bellamy off???????????????? Agh! Liverpool can't play for 0-0, Gerrard will have to get foward.

    Mike.

As a United fan, glad to see Bellamy off. Hopefully Saha can conjure something up. Rooney looks to injured. Sh1t

Judging from the substitutions looks like both are content to play for a draw and not risk losing...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,595 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Really need Crouchy on for the final stages. Take off Momo and have stevie play attacking mid. Really annoyed at Bellamy coming off, he was out most attacking, dangerous looking player. Kuyt is also less effective with noone to pass off to.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,595 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

oooh very lucky with the potential pen on Saha

    Crouchy on. \o/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,538 ✭✭✭PiE

Well Crouch is on, hopefully we really go for it now. Little bit worried about Saha's pace in the late stages though.

Vidic almost proves me right. Neville yellow card. Heating up now :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Crouchy on! They're going for it.

Neville on a yellow for cynical tackle.

United didn't deserve to win but they did. the mark of Champions... it's not over yet but it sure's looking good now.

feel bad for the 'Pool though, they really deserved something from that match

can't wait to read what Moaninho has to say about this.

Awful defending by Pool, have to blame Agger for giving away the ball in the first place.
