    Hi,

I was training last night with my running club subsequently running 10 miles on the road. After the run I felt a serious pain on the bone n the left leg left of the knee. When I tried to walk on it it was very painful and would in some way feel like to the bone was about to pop out. Its still fairly sore today when I walk on the left leg. Would anyone have experieced this before and know what it is and how to remedy it. If its the same tomorrow I will book in with a physio. I am just trying to see if anyone experienced it before and whether its serious or not.

    Cheers

    Hey Billyhead,

Sorry to hear about your injury. I have come across people describing a similar pain on the knee, usually after longer runs. Don't mean to be a doom merchent but I don't think it's something that will go away that easily, theres a few different things that it could be and all of them will require rest and rehab.

To be honest I'd make an appointment with a physio today.
