Only Fox News is available on the Sky platform with a subscription, it's on the EPG so no need to add to other channels.

You can't get any american channels such as Fox, CBS, NBC on Sky Digital and there is no way of doing it legal or otherwise.

The satellites are too far around the Earth and beams point the wrong way.

There are some occasional feeds of US TV on some atlantic satellites. Need 80cm to 110cm motorised dish and patience. Not for watching regular TV.

Unless you know somebody in the American armed forces who will sell you the equipment and viewing card to recieve the American Forces Network Europe. You get all the main American channels without adverts (Just public information programs between programs on how great America is).

See if anything is being offered on ebay or if you can find a forum for American forces in europe and offer them money. wouldn't be cheap though

I think they could get into serious trouble. All that gear has serial numbers and has to be signed for etc. It can't legally be sold on eBay.

If you obtained it you would be a receiver of stolen goods. It does not belong to the Service Men.

13E on 80cm dish any FTA receiver (not Digibox). NTSC TV or else you get B&W picture. Some expensive Sat receivers can convert. Colour via RGB SCART though.

ABC and CBS news are carried on the MBC channels on Badr 4 26E. You'd need a larger dish (1M+) but they could be tuned in via other channels on Digibox. Schedule here and thread here.

A more indepth US news program is carried on VOA channel on Hotbird 13E - Newshour with Jim Lehrer - 12226, V, 27500
