It contains hydrolyzed whey protein, it has a bitter taste.

Scroll down a little bit, there's a paragraph on it.

Got some at the weekend. Would normally use isolate but funds are at an all time low.
Tastes allright, even in water which is a plus. Only 17g a scoop though, so use 2 and you should be ok. If anyone's used it before for a lenght of time let us know what the story is.

I've used the choc flavor whey from H+B for a few years now. Always stock up on it whenever it's at half price, which is every few months. I don't have much to say about it really except that it is whey protein and it tastes great to me anyway. It's very hard to say how good it is or how much it has helped me.

The "recipe" seems to vary a bit. The tubs on sale now:
    serving size 25g
    protein 17.62g
    carbs 1.97g of which sugars 1.1 g
    calories 98 kcal

    the older tubs I have:
    serving size 23g
    Protein 16.5g
carbs 2g of which sugars 0.7g
    calories 85 kcal

Also the old tub lists various B vitamins in the ingredients whereas the new tub doesn't.

Both tubs say that the powder is a blend of isolate, concentrate and hydrolysed protien but they don't give the proportions. There is also a breaddown of the variosu amno acids in the powder

    Hey all,

Funny enough, it ain't the cheapest Protein around and not the best quality either. It has only 70g of protein per 100g which is considerably low compared to say ON, Olimp or the famous 'Big Whey' from NutritionX.

The H&B stuff is two pounds Anton, not five.

I tend to get the Pure Soya Protein Powder from h&b its 80g protein for every 100g, it tastes pretty good too. Usually costs about 17euro for 2lbs.

Most whey powders contain some hydrolyzed whey, but usually they're not in high enough proportion to cause any bitterness.

Pure hydrolysed whey, on the other hand, is nassssty.

I stocked up with this, tastes grand. Dead cheap.

I think it makes my face break out in spots though?
