How to Loose Weight Steadily

    Be gentle with me gurus!
Ok I'm 35, 5'3" tall..I weigh 75kgs...would like to loose about 20 kg...I think that would make me about right...
Have joined the gym and am easing myself into a weights program/cardio program as well as trying to include as much incidental movement as possible, eg. walk and bus to work as well as car, avoiding lifts...etc....

My problem I think is diet..I know I eat too many carbs and I know I eat when things aren't going quite right in my life....So knowing all that is a good first step...Can anyone recommend a good sensible reference source for healthy eating....I find that so called 'healthy eating plans' suggest a great variety of meals that are simply not practical for a single person living alone, commuting to work and trying to have a life..I'm looking for a plan or suggested plan that combines ingredients over a week to make up a mini plan. I don't mind repitition at all and want to ensure that preparation time is minimal or restricted to weekend preparation for freezing etc. All suggestions welcome..I have browsed through some previous posts and have found them informative...For the record...friend of mine did Lippotrim recently and lost 2 stone...and half a head of hair.....
